Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Nick grew up adoring his beloved Oilers and walking the fairways of the Broadmoor Golf Club. This is where Nick began to learn about integrity, confidence and gamesmanship. At age 15, Nick moved across the country to Ottawa, Ontario. Here he found himself honing his golf game on the fairways and practice range of the Royal Ottawa Golf and Country Club and now also cheering on the Ottawa Senators.
After high school, Nick started working in luxury hospitality and worked his way up to a Management position. Following a stint as a golf instructor and Florida resident, Nick found his way back to Ottawa to study. He graduated with a Major in Marketing and Business Administration.
Since arriving in Whistler in the summer of 2006, Nick has continued to pursue his dreams and passions, developing his career while enjoying the West Coast lifestyle. He's now been selling Real Estate in Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish since 2008 and has joined the Stilhavn Real Estate Services family in 2020. For Nick, life in Whistler has meant enjoying the outdoor and mountain lifestyle while working in a business that he is truly passionate about. Valérie was borned and raised in Québec where she learned to ski when she was just 3 years old. Growing up, she started travelling at a young age, always eager for new cultural or outdoorsy experiences. Val graduated from college in Arts before obtaining her Law degree at Laval University. After her experience practicing law in a corporate law firm, she went back to school to obtain her Masters in Public relations.
After working in event planning, sponsorship and marketing for a comedy event, Val felt the urge to move to the West Coast to meet new people, improve her english and her snowboarding skills. There, she found herself enjoying the life/work balance between skiing, snowboarding, surfing, biking, hiking and working as a manager for a local restaurant in Whistler.
Close to her family, Val needed to find a way to stay out West while being able to spend time with her loved ones. She became a flight attendant for a national carrier and moved out to Calgary to find herself pursuing a career where she could have a meaningful impact on guests from around the globe.
In 2020, Valérie discovered Real Estate, a path that finally merges all the various skills she acquired over the years. Nick and Val met in 2017 through common acquaintances and have been friends since. After buying her first house with Nick's help, she was offered to join the team as his assistant. Val is now working towards obtaining her real estate license and chose this path as her long term career. With her love for people, her passion for the Sea to Sky lifestyle, her care for work done well, efficiently and flawlessly, her deep rooted honesty and her work ethic, Val trusts she can have a positive impact on your real estate journey.
