Whistler Creek, better known as Creekside, was the original village centre in Whistler’s earlier days. Creekside has a lot of soul and is a favourite neighbourhood among locals.
Although considered to be more laid-back than the village, there is plenty to do and see in Creekside. The main attraction has to be the Whistler Mountain gondola (and the free, covered underground day parking for visitors), but you will also find banks, a grocery store, restaurants (including the infamous Dusty’s, one of the best spots in town for Après), cafes, many shops and services and the only gas station in Whistler.
There truly is something for everyone in Creekside: old-timer condos, refurbished townhomes, quarter share properties, brand new complexes and everything in between. Residents of Creekside love being able to walk to the lifts and enjoy being close to Alpha Lake.
